Squirrel Medical specialise in the research, manufacture and the distribution of a wide range of pressure relieving devices. These items include alternating air mattresses, specialised seating and various ancillary products. Our ethos is to create easy to use nursing equipment that is simple to clean and does the job effectively with minimal technical expertise.
Squirrel products are intended to be sensibly constructed and where possible, use off the shelf components. This means that our products are service friendly, thus allowing longer term and third party maintenance on a global basis.
Our shared belief is that pressure care products are an aid to assist in care rather than a substitute for care, and that training, time and awareness are at least of equal importance. We therefore produce a range of free and cost effective tutorials, which are again available worldwide.
Our powered mattresses and seating have over the years developed a reputation for being easy to use and for being competitively priced.
Squirrel Medical facilitates a small group of pro active team members. Team members encourage each other to consider and explore radical alternatives with regards to all aspects of improving the business, with the goal of making pressure care equipment, training and support more available.
